About Me & Zoe Mentor Ministries LLC
I am Teresa Denlinger, a Functional Nutritionist, Board-Certified in Holistic Nutrition. I founded Zoe Mentor Ministries LLC, a private nutrition practice, after successfully passing my board exam in 2020. My journey into the world of holistic nutrition began in 2007 when I experienced a remarkable transformation in my own life thanks to Standard Process therapeutic supplements and dietary adjustments. This dramatic recovery from debilitating fatigue, pain, and brain fog inspired me to leave my career in bank management and return to college to study functional nutrition.
My approach includes utilizing nutritional response testing and ordering functional labs to analyze a client’s nutritional sensitivities and deficiencies, aiming to identify the root causes of their health challenges. My ultimate passion is to empower and support others in their journey towards thriving.
The name “Zoe” holds special significance, as it is the Greek word for life. Zoe Mentor Ministries LLC was born out of my deep commitment to assisting clients in achieving holistic well-being. Once clients gain insight into the underlying factors driving their symptoms or problematic behaviors, it becomes easier for them to make the necessary changes to regain vitality and achieve their health goals.
Using biblical guidance I embrace the principles of simplicity and using organic whole foods, along with the use of targeted therapeutic-grade herbal and nutraceutical supplements. My approach typically begins with cleansing and nourishing the body, making purification the foundation of my work. Clients often experience remarkable results after a 21-day nutrient-dense detoxification, which serves as a catalyst for healing.
As a devoted follower of Jesus, I consider the mind, emotions, and spiritual aspects to be catalysts for holistic healing. Our beliefs deeply influence our life choices and how we perceive our bodies. Jesus instructs his followers to honor their bodies as temples for his Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, our culture often promotes the exploitation of our bodies for pleasure, which can be detrimental to our well-being.
Given my personality type as an ENFJ on the Myers-Briggs scale, I have always been deeply concerned about the quality of life and relationships. Food plays a central role in our social bonds, and in a world where many individuals have food sensitivities, social gatherings can often feel isolating for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. I have personally encountered this challenge during my previous career as a bank manager and as a volunteer on several boards. I vividly recall carrying a bag of sliced apples while my fellow board members indulged in delicious restaurant meals. Many of my clients, some of whom are dealing with serious health issues, find the social isolation brought about by dietary changes to be their greatest challenge.
With this in mind, my heartfelt desire is to establish a nationwide network of home fellowships within our membership base, where clients can cultivate authentic, holistically healthy relationships. Together, we can overcome challenges and thrive. We are indeed better together!
